Limited Lifetime Warranty

S•K Professional Tools, unless otherwise specified, are unconditionally guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for the expected life of the tool. S•K, at its option, will repair or replace any tool that fails to give satisfactory service, on condition that the tool (in S•K’s sole judgement) has not been misused, abused, modified or worn out from use and that it is returned to an authorized warranty station.

Agents of S•K Hand Tool Corporation have no authority to make representations of any sort beyond those contained in this warranty. No S•K employee, distributor or person other than an authorized officer of S•K may extend the S•K Warranty. Any such alteration must be in writing and signed by the authorized officer.

The foregoing limited warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, whether oral, written, expressed, implied or statutory, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose or merchantability.

Tools returned to SK Hand Tool Corporation for warranty replacement will be assessed a shipping, handling, and processing fee of $5.00 per tool.  SK reserves the right to modify the fees at its discretion.  When sending tools to SK Hand Tool for warranty replacement include a check, credit card information, or money order for the shipping, handling, and processing fee along with your return address.  Allow eight to twelve weeks for warranty replacement processing.  Tools should be returned to the following address for warranty return processing:

Storage Products Warranty

S•K Storage Products are guaranteed to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase.

Micrometer Torque Wrench, Dial Torque Wrench and Torque Screwdriver Warranty

S•K Micrometer Torque Wrenches, S•K Dial Torque Wrenches and S•K Torque Screwdrivers are guaranteed to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one or two year(s) from the date of purchase. See torque wrench section of this catalog for specific details by part number. Warranty service is available from the warranty centers listed in the brochure enclosed with each wrench. There is a significant difference between warranty centers and repair centers, so please review the brochure carefully. S•K torque products are precision instruments that contain moving parts. These components are subject to normal wear through use and replacement of those parts are the responsibility of the buyer. All products subject to warranty claims should be sent to the authorized warranty centers listed in the brochure enclosed with each wrench.

Pro-Gun Impact Wrenches and Ratchets Warranty

SK Pro-Gun impact wrenches and ratchets are guaranteed to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. A warranty card is included with each impact wrench and ratchet which should be completely filled out and sent back to SK. Warranty service is available across the country through the Authorized Service Centers of which a list is included on the back page of the operation manual as well as on the SK Hand Tool website.

Consumable Items Warranty

Consumable items are items that are reasonably expected to be used up or damaged during use, and include such items as hone stones, saw blades, files, brushes and razor blades. Consumable items are not covered under the S•K and limited lifetime warranty.

Why S•K Does Not Accept Abused or Misused Tools Under Its Warranty Policy

Abuse and misuse of a tool damages your tool and can cause accidents and bodily injury if an abused tool breaks during use. S•K Professional Tools are designed to perform specific functions. Misuse and abuse may result in stress and fatigue levels beyond those that result when using the tool in its originally manufactured state. S•K wants all tool users to recognize the dangerous consequences that abuse and misuse can cause.
